Bids for Grain Delivered to Portland

   March wheat futures trended mixed, from 1.75 cents lower to 3.50 cents
per bushel higher compared to Monday�s noon closes, with the decline
in Chicago hard red wheat and the greatest advance in Minneapolis dark
northern spring wheat.

   Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat delivered to Portland in unit trains and
barges for February delivery ordinary protein trended eight to 15 cents per
bushel lower compared to Monday�s noon bids for the same delivery period.
Some exporters were not issuing bids for nearby delivery.  Bids for
guaranteed maximum 10.5 percent protein trended steady to two cents per
bushel lower compared to Monday�s noon bids for the same delivery period.
Some exporters are not issuing bids for nearby delivery.

   Bids for 11.5 percent US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for February delivery
trended 1.75 cents per bushel lower compared to Monday�s noon bids for the
same delivery period.  Some exporters were not issuing bids for nearby
delivery.

   Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for February
delivery trended 3.50 cents per bushel higher compared to Monday�s noon
bids for the same delivery period.  Some exporters were not issuing bids
for nearby delivery.

    Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered full coast in 110 car shuttle
trains for February delivery trended 0.50 of a cent to 5.50 cents per
bushel higher compared to Monday�s noon bids for the same delivery period.
Some exporters were not issuing bids for nearby delivery.

   Bids for US 1 Yellow Soybeans delivered full coast in 110 car shuttle
trains for February delivery trended 12.50 cents per bushel higher compared
to Monday�s noon bids for the same delivery period.  Some exporters were
not issuing bids for nearby delivery.

   According to the Portland Merchant�s Exchange, there were 21 grain
vessels in Columbia River ports today, with five docked.
